A keen desire to learn about fashion and apparel led to the intense postgraduate study of Masters of Fashion Design (Womenswear) at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, United Kingdom. This was after an undergraduate study in fashion design at National Institute of Fashion Technology, Gandhinagar, India.

Label Mudita Patel is born out of the desire to create and offer extravagant fashion reflecting ideologies of Slow Fashion and  Revival of Craft & Heritage. Everything is intricately designed after an intensive design process and thoughtfully made to meet the requirements of the clients and buyers.

The brand is known for its Contemporary Ethnics garments. These are made of traditional Indian textiles fit into modern silhouettes.

Personally, travelling and experiencing various cultures is always fascinating. It gives a different dimension to perception towards things, places and people. This acculturation translates into various forms of fashion produced by the label.

I believe that Sustainability is not an option; it should be a way of life. Contemporary fashion ought to be ethical and that is what I identify with.

My motto is “To begin with, become a good human being. Everything else can follow”.
